Body Oils - How To Make Up An Oil For The Body
Make up your body oils using 1 drop of essential oil to 1 millilitre of
base vegetable oil. Good base oils to use are almond, grapeseed
and apricot kernel, or the rather less exotic soya bean, safflower and
sunflower. Olive oil, sesame, wheatgerm and avocado oils have a
rather strong smell and are best used as part of a base oil blend.
Other good additions are evening primrose, jojoba and carrot oil.
Oils For Body - The Favourite Body Oil
One of my favourite body oils consists of the two base oils, almond
and evening primrose, plus the essential oils of chamomile roman,
geranium and lavender. You can make your body oil as simple or as
complicated as you like. Wonderful oils can be made using just one
essential oil or with a combination of five - the choice is yours
Body Oils - Co-Ordinate The Aroma Of Oils
It's a nice idea to aroma co-ordinate the oils you use in the bath with those in your body oil, but any of the
citrus oils will combine aromatically very well with most blends if you just want to add a single oil to your bath.
Put 4-6 drops of essential oil in baths.
Here then are the essential oils best suited to four different skin types and a suggested synergistic blend for
each type that can be used for both body oil and bath.
